Our Mission
The Mind Body Medicine Research Laboratory works to investigate alternative clinical assessments and treatments. Our mission is to increase knowledge and awareness of mind-body research, to relieve suffering, and to improve over-all health and quality of life. Our 2,000 square foot facility is located on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, TX. Recently, the MBMR Lab received a $2.5 million dollar National Institute of Health (NIH) grant and is currently conducting a study to evaluate the efficacy of hypnosis as a treatment for hot flashes. See 'Current Study and Ongoing Research' for more information.
